SCANDRILL, INC to Release its 9th High-Spec, Dual Fuel Rig, the SCAN Liberty
HOUSTON, June 15, 2021 — SCANDRILL, INC. announces that the company will release its 9th high-specification, energy efficient rig, the SCAN Liberty.
The SCAN Liberty is the company’s 9TH high-specification Norseman II™ Series rig, designed with the latest technology to meet and exceed customer demands. The SCAN Liberty is capable of drilling wells in excess of 30,000’ feet. This rig has been outfitted with energy efficient equipment designed to drill long lateral lengths from multi-well pads.

The SCAN Liberty is equipped with an advanced engine control system and the ability to run directly off the electric grid. The SCAN Liberty, a 2000-HP AC-powered rig, has been outfitted with the latest equipment. Equipment featured on this rig includes:
- An OWI AC 2000-HP drawworks package
- A Veristic walking system for multi-well pad drilling
- Four Caterpillar engines with Dual Gas Blending Systems
- Three F-1600 mud pumps with 7500 PSI fluid ends
- Forum FH-80 ‘Iron Roughneck’
- Forum S3000 Hydraulic Catwalk
- GDS TDS-11 Hi-Tork AC 500-ton top drive
